So it started to rain after some pretty impressive thunder claps reverberating off the mountain side. Roman was asleep, Steph and I were sitting outside enjoying the company of our new neighgor Valentine. She is a sweet British gal who we are fortunate to be living next to - she is visitor #1.
After a bit I caught something moving behind Steph out of the corner of my eye - our second visitor! A nice, big, all too real scorpion!! We caught him, played with him for a while (while he was safely inside a plastic container) and then placed him in in the drainage ditch (I believe it is called an Arroyo) coming from the mountain that runs next to our place. H
